About Eric James

Hello!  I am Eric James, basically a metalhead who loves heavy metal music.  Heavy metal has always been a big part of my life and now I can fully express my views here on this blog.

The bands I like, just to name a few: Metallica, Iron Maiden, In Flames, Nightwish, Wintersun, Dio, Sonata Arctica, Tarot, Kalmah, After Forever, Savatage, Turisas, Kiuas, Black Sabbath, Ensiferum, Megadeth, and countless more.  My favorite metal genres are heavy metal, power metal, symphonic metal, thrash metal, folk metal, melodic death metal, and progressive metal.  I also listen to a lot of classical music and soundtrack music too like Hans Zimmer or John Williams.

I also am a musician who writes and plays music as a fun way to express myself.  I also cover video game songs done in heavy/power metal style music:
